📍BOTANICAL POOL CLUB
Many people thought it was overseas, but it's actually Chiba🤣
It's only a little over an hour by car from Tokyo!
At first, I thought the 30㎡ room might be small, but since there was no bathtub, it felt spacious!
There are two saunas and a jacuzzi, so it doesn't bother me even if I only take a shower🚿
In the winter, it's a heated pool, so it's like a tropical hot spring with sauna♨️
Day use is also available!
I highly recommend it, so please come and visit🫶🏻

Just like an overseas resort!? A hotel with a pool just an hour away from the city center
To the Botanical Pool Club @botanicalpoolclub in Chiba
When I stayed there, I was able to check in early at 1pm, so I was able to enjoy the pool first🛟✨
The path leading to the pool was surrounded by botanicals, and I couldn't contain my excitement...!
The pool can be enjoyed from morning to night, and there is an infinity pool called "BLACK POOL" and a "SIGNATURE POOL" in the middle, so you can enjoy it however you like✨
The room has a simple adult design, and you can see the pool from the room⛱️✨The drinks and food in the room are all-you-can-eat🥤, so I recommend relaxing in your room while enjoying the music played by the DJ outside😌
There was also a sauna, so I went to bed after getting ready...💤
There were so many ways to enjoy it that one night was not enough...! I want to go again

[Minamiboso] A must-visit restaurant for local fish lovers
We ordered the Fisherman's Staff Bowl (1,430 yen) and the Scallop and Local Fish Namero Bowl (1,485 yen). The rice was delicious vinegared rice, and there was a lot of pickled local fish, so it was very filling. There was a souvenir shop in front of the restaurant where fish was dried. This is a recommended restaurant where you can enjoy seafood gourmet, one of the reasons to visit the Boso Peninsula.

Kawazu cherry blossoms in Chiba 🌸 Sakuma Dam Lake
#Sakura2024
The Kawazu cherry blossoms at Sakuma Dam Lake are planted so that they run up the cliffs, and the view is spectacular from above and below♪
It's almost like hiking, so if you go, make sure to wear sneakers👟
There are about three parking lots, all of which are free♪When I went around noon, I ended up in the farthest parking lot, so it's best to go early in the morning. Kawazu cherry blossoms are blooming everywhere, including on the hiking trail and around the lake, so please go and see them♪I parked in the parking lot near the waterfront plaza, climbed the mountain on the hiking trail, and then walked around the dam♪It's within a day trip distance from Tokyo, and the scenery was like another world♪📍Spot name: Sakuma Dam Lake Waterfront ParkAddress: 39 Okuzure, Kyonan-machi, Awa-gun, Chiba 299-2111Opening hours: 10:00-16:00Fee: FreeRecommendation: It's recommended to go in the morning⚠Caution: The hiking trail is mostly mountain climbing, so wear sneakers👟

Looking at the photos alone, it makes you wonder if they went overseas🌴Botanical Pool Club🏊♀️
It's actually in Chiba🙈
It's only about an hour and a half by car from Tokyo, but if you were brought here in this location🛟 with an eye mask on, you would never think you were in Japan🥸
Although it's called a pool club, there are actually two saunas🙉㊙️The sauna on the poolside has an infinity pool instead of a cold bath.
The water temperature was just right, and it looked like you could even float🐳
I meditated while floating in the pool🧘♀️I was completely refreshed after watching the horizon and the sunset💆🏻♀️
The other sauna is SWEAT LODGE🛖, which has an ice-cold cold bath
The jungle-inspired sauna room and the outdoor bathing space while looking at the trees were amazing!
I imagine outdoor pools being for summer, but don't worry, it's heated! In fact, this season is the best for sauna bathing 😌 (The temperature is comfortable for outdoor bathing, and the insects are less active 🐝)
I'll go again in winter for the sauna 🧖♀️ On a snowy day, I think I could take some great photos ⛄️

Nihonji Tenbodai
Nihonji Tenbodai located in Chiba prefecture. I climbed the mountain on foot because the cable cannot be used for a windy day. On foot climbing took around 1:30hr for one route and it’s easy to climb ever though you’re a beginner climber. But take a notice that there is no water supply or food store along the climbing. However, you can find souvenir shop on the top of mountain, jinja.

Hiking in Japan?
#celebratewithtrip
This is Mount Nokogiri is situated in Boso Peninsula, Chiba prefecture. Its name literally translates as "Saw Mountain" and if you look at it from a distance, the mountain ridge with its wooded peaks and depressions does somewhat remind me of a traditional Japanese saw. You can take the train to JR Hama - Kanaya Station and walk to the ropeway up to upper mid way of the mountain. Be prepared to climb a lot and I mean ALOT if stairs. But the view is worth it. They call it the view of hell 🫣

"Mt. Nokogiri" - a hidden scenic spot in Chiba Prefecture
It's a mountain, but you don't have to climb it^ ^
You can drive right up to the top of the mountain, and there's even a ropeway, so it's recommended for those who aren't very physically fit🏃♂️
It's called "Nokogiriyama" (Saw Mountain) because the top of the mountain is jagged like a saw! You can climb to the top and enjoy the view! There's also a thrilling spot that juts out from the mountainside and a large Buddha statue!
You can get there in no time from Tokyo if you use the Aqualine🚗
What's more, it's faster to come from Kanagawa Prefecture than to travel within Chiba Prefecture⁈If you look closely at the map, you'll see that the area around Kanaya is very close to the Miura Peninsula, and it takes 40 minutes by ferry⛴
If you time it right, you can watch the sunset from the boat, so it's recommended🌅

Chasing Sakura at Sakuma Dam Shinsui Park Chiba
#cherryblossom25 Make an early escape from winter and head to Chiba to welcome spring with the Kawazu cherry blossoms! 🌸
Did you know that certain varieties of cherry blossoms bloom earlier in the year? This includes the bright pink "Kawazu-zakura" — some of which you can find scattered throughout Chiba.
One of the best places to see these cherry trees is the Sakuma Dam Shinsui Park located in the hills south of the prefecture. Locally known as "Yoritomo Sakura", the Kawazu cherry trees become the centerpiece of the month-long flower festival held from February to March.
Since the park is located away from the city, it makes it a great place to escape the city crowds and get that perfect shot with lovely cherry blossoms! 🤩📸

Villa Katsuyama Aver @ Kyonan Town, Chiba 🐕🦺
Villa Katsuyama Aver is a hotel in Chiba where you can stay with your dog 🐕🦺
There is a dog run nearby, and the rooms are spacious, so we were able to enjoy a relaxing stay with our dog!
We had dinner at the restaurant in the evening, and Chiba's fresh seafood and famous beef stew were delicious 🥩
There were also several cats on the premises, and we enjoyed interacting with them 🐈
I was also surprised to find that there was a private bath and an open-air bath!

🔥Recommended points
The Great Buddha of Nihon-ji Temple, a huge stone Buddha with a height of 31 meters! A thrilling view from a steep cliff looking into hell. An observation deck with a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji and Tokyo Bay.
📝Travel record
I took the ropeway to the top of the mountain and walked down on the way back. I went there lightly dressed, but it was harder than I thought, so I recommend wearing clothes that are easy to move in lol
There was a covered bench in front of the Great Buddha, so I took a break and ate the rice balls I brought with me. Everyone else was eating their own bento lunches.

[Chiba] Tateyama
⌇ Detour Spots
Tateyama is about an hour away on the Aqua Line. It's perfect for a trip to nearby areas. Here are some recommended spots that we visited.
1. Yasuda Elementary School Roadside Station
A closed elementary school has been reborn as a roadside station.
There's a restaurant where you can get nostalgic school lunches, and a market selling souvenirs and vegetables from Chiba Prefecture.
You can even stay overnight in a classroom!
2. Banya Main Building
A restaurant run directly by the Yasuda Fisheries Cooperative that serves delicious fresh fish.
Recommended dish for the day is boiled golden-eyed snapper.
The fluffy flesh and sweet and spicy broth go great with rice.
3. Traycle
A cafe that uses a 100-year-old nationally registered tangible cultural property.
The tree-shaped muffin on the seasonal menu is made with matcha and black sesame cream.
7. Okamoto Pier
A pier famous as a filming location.
The road to get here is extremely narrow, so drive carefully! Unfortunately, there was a strong wind and it was too cold so we left early.
It doesn't show up well in the photo, but Mt. Fuji looked beautiful.

[Chiba Prefecture] Like an ancient ruin! Mount Nokogiri, famous for its view of hell
Located in the southern part of the Boso Peninsula in Chiba Prefecture, straddling Futtsu City and Kyonan Town facing Tokyo Bay, Mt. Nokogiri is famous for the "Hell's Peek" from the cliffs of Nihon-ji Temple near the summit, where you can see the world below. However, trekking to approach Mt. Nokogiri (329m above sea level) from the ground is also a popular activity. Mt. Nokogiri was a quarry for Boshu stone that continued until the Showa era, and the industrial heritage of the quarry remains vividly. The traces of the stone quarry, cut vertically and horizontally, look like the remains of a lost ancient temple. It is also quite interesting to see the vivid flea marks. In the mountain, there is a hidden spot called "Nekochoba" where cats are carved into the wall. (In the past, carts carrying cut stones were called "cat cars" and this is the place where they waited.)
Highly recommended for cat lovers
There is also a rock formation carved into a heart shape that is a great photo spot
The path has many steep climbs and ups and downs, but it is basically beginner level
There are various courses, including a path that leads to Nihon-ji Temple, and you can enjoy a peek into hell as a set
*Climbing is free, but Nihon-ji Temple requires an admission fee
Of course, you can also go straight to Nihon-ji Temple by ropeway
In that case, you won't be able to see the stone quarry heritage
You can also make a day trip from the Tokyo area by train, car, or Tokyo Bay ferry

Mt. Nokogiri is located in Kyonan-cho, Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture. It is 329m above sea level.
Originally a stone quarry on Mt. Boshu. It was named Nokogiri because of the jagged silhouette of the mountain.

A large 100-foot Kannon statue carved into the wall of a cut stone. The guardian deity of road safety.
[Yakushiji Ruriko Nyorai Seated Statue]
Located in Nihon-ji Temple. A Buddha of medicine that relieves suffering from illness. He holds a medicine jar in his left hand.
[Onegai Jizo]
It is enshrined in the Great Buddha Square and is surrounded by small Jizo statues.
It is said that if you write your wish on the back of this small Jizo statue and recite it, it will come true.

[Chiba Tourism] Nokogiriyama: An adventurous journey combining spectacular views and history
Be moved by the view of hell and be overwhelmed by Japan's largest stone Buddha
Mt. Nokogiri is a 329-meter-high mountain located in the Minami Boso region of Chiba Prefecture. It was named after its unique saw-blade-like shape. It has a history of being used as a stone quarry since the Edo period, and traces of this can still be seen in the mountains.
📍Mt. Nokogiri
🚃From Hamakanaya Station on the JR Uchibo Line, it is about a 10-minute walk to the base station of the Nokogiriyama Ropeway. It takes about 4 minutes to reach the summit
🚗From Kyonan Hota IC on the Tateyama Expressway via the Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line, it is about 15 minutes. There is a parking lot at the base of the mountain
⭐️View of Hell
This is a cliff observation deck near the summit, and is popular as a scenic spot with a panoramic view of Tokyo Bay and Mt. Fuji. It is called "View of Hell" because of its thrilling view.
⭐️Nihon-ji Temple
This Soto Zen temple is located on the southern slope of Mt. Nokogiri and has a history of about 1,300 years. Many Buddhist statues are scattered around the temple grounds, including the 31-meter-tall Yakushi Nyorai statue, one of the largest stone Buddha statues in Japan, and the Hyakushaku Kannon statue.
⭐️Stone Quarry Site
There are many traces of quarrying that have continued since the Edo period in the mountains, creating an atmosphere like an ancient ruin. In particular, the sheer rock wall, also known as the "Laputa Wall," fascinates visitors.
⚠️Mt. Nokogiri has many steep slopes and stairs, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes. Also, depending on the weather, visibility may be poor, so it is a good idea to check the weather forecast in advance.
Mt. Nokogiri, where nature and history blend together, is a great spot for hiking and sightseeing. Be sure to experience its magnificent scenery and historical heritage.

Day trip to Chiba Prefecture
Went to Saw Hill, to get to the top of the mountain although walking almost an hour, but did not expect most of the stairs, really hard! However, there will be different views along the way, such as 99 stone statues 🗿, etc., quite special! It is recommended that if you don't have the physical strength, you can take the cable car 🚡, go up halfway first! This makes it relatively easy. However the view is really worth it and worth recommending.

Nokogiriyama Japanese Temple in Chiba, one of the three most famous mountains in Japan.
Friends in Japan will not have not been to Chiba Saw Mountain. I strongly recommend a day trip from Tokyo.
Or for those who come to Japan for tourism, I strongly recommend one of the three famous mountains in Japan.
I was in Kanagawa, Japan. I drove through the Akua Undersea Tunnel and it was super fast. It took about an hour to get there. I personally recommend that you drive if you have a car. There is a free parking lot halfway up the mountain. If you like to walk, you can park here and walk up the mountain. If you don’t like walking, you can take the expressway directly to the top of the mountain!
If you don't have a car and don't want to walk, you can take the cable car. Don't worry. I'm the kind of person who likes to visit. As long as I go to a scenic spot, I want to visit all of them. We drove to the free parking lot under the Big Buddha. ⚠️ Tickets are 700 yen for adults and 400 yen for children. 📍First of all, you must go to the Big Buddha. I've been having a bad time recently. Since I'm here, I must have a sense of awe. Whether I believe it or not, sincerity will work. I bought a few bundles of incense in front of the Big Buddha and asked for a Mahakala amulet! 📍 Hundred-foot Guanyin is a must-go. The Hundred-foot Guanyin is located on the top of the mountain. There is an observation deck above your head. 📍 The observation deck is just that there are a lot of people queuing up to take pictures. You can overlook the entire sea and road conditions. These are the three major attractions. There are countless small attractions in the middle. They are all related to Buddha statues. The next article will be posted. After all, it is one of the three famous mountains in Japan. It is a famous Japanese temple. It is worth coming.

This is the main photo of the famous spot known as Hell's Peek
Even from a distance, it's scary, right?
There is also a ropeway to the top.
At the top, there is delicious bamboo ink ice cream🍨 and mochi.
It seems that the stones were cut and processed long ago.
The stone walls seen from Hell's Peek are spectacular.
The mountain is beautifully cut, and it is not a natural cut.
You can see it clearly from the highway. ⛰️
It's worth going.
I highly recommend it.
You can climb the mountain relatively easily even without using the ropeway.
The fifth photo shows the largest Buddha statue in Japan, which was carved out of a stone mountain.
*Part of the Buddha statue has been repaired
It's impressive in size.

A peek into Hell, Tokyo Bay list!!
#FamilyTrip
The 329m high Nokogiriyama mountain is lined with sharp rocks, and as its name suggests, its ridgeline is shaped like the teeth of a saw. Nihon-ji Temple is located on the southern slope of Nokogiriyama, which is known as a scenic spot designated by Chiba Prefecture.
The temple is the oldest imperial prayer site in the Kanto region, founded in 725 by Gyoki Bodhisattva, who received an imperial decree from Emperor Shomu about 1,300 years ago. The vast grounds of the temple, covering over 330,000 square meters, are dotted with many attractions, including Japan's largest rock-carved Buddha (Yakushi Ruriko Nyorai), the 100-foot Kannon statue, and the 1,500 Rakan statues. One of the highlights is the "Peek into Hell" at the summit area. If you go to the tip of the protruding rock, you will feel as if you are floating in the air. You can see a spectacular view of the Boso Peninsula, Mt. Fuji in the distance, and the Miura Peninsula, but if you look down, it's thrilling! It's like looking into hell.
You can easily get to the summit by using the ropeway or mountain road. There are also hiking trails, so we recommend combining your walk with a hike while admiring the seasonal flowers.

Minamiboso ramen restaurant
#JapaneseGourmet2024
When you enter the restaurant, there are counter seats and table seats.
It seems that it is a one-man operation from the Taisho era, so it seems that the table seats have a self-service system where you go and get your own food when it is ready!
It seems that they use many types of seafood, but the flavor of bonito and other ingredients is at the forefront.
It is lighter than expected and the impression of pork bone is weak.
It has a smooth texture and a strong soy sauce taste.
The noodles are medium-thin and curly.
The one and only seafood pork bone broth was delicious.
It was a ramen unique to this area.
The handmade gyoza was also light and the skin was firm.
