It was a trip Malta 🇲🇹 We started our trip by visiting Mdina, Malta’s ancient walled city. The narrow, winding streets and medieval architecture made for perfect photo backdrops 📸 One of the best times to visit is early in the morning ☀️or late in the afternoon when the light is soft, casting beautiful shadows over the old stone buildings ✨We explored the impressive St. Paul’s Cathedral and enjoyed the views from the bastions, which gave us incredible panoramas of the island 🏝️ 📍Mdina, Malta We also took a boat 🛥️ trip to the famous Blue Lagoon, located on the island of Comino. The crystal-clear waters and striking blue hues were simply mesmerizing 🌊We arrived in the late morning, when the sun was shining brightly, allowing the water to glow. The boat ride itself was picturesque, and once there, we spent time swimming and taking photos of the surrounding cliffs 📸The lagoon is best visited when the weather is calm, and it’s less crowded, so we made sure to go early in the day or during off-peak times 😍 📍Blue Lagoon, Comino, Malta We spent a good amount of time in Valletta, Malta’s capital. The entire city is a UNESCO World Heritage site, brimming with history and grand architecture 🙌 The most photogenic part was the Upper Barracca Gardens, offering sweeping views of the Grand Harbour. We visited during the golden hour ⏰which gave us stunning lighting to capture the harbor and the three cities across the bay. The streets are filled with vibrant, colorful buildings, perfect for photos that capture the essence of Maltese culture 🙌 I would definitely recommend wandering around the city and discovering its many charming nooks, shops, and churches. Valletta is an absolute gem 💎for history buffs and photography lovers alike. 📍Valletta, Malta We also visited Popeye Village, the famous film set of the 1980 movie Popeye 💪 Located on the northern coast of Malta, the colorful wooden buildings and the picturesque setting by the sea were perfect for playful and nostalgic photos. We arrived just after lunch, and the lighting was ideal for capturing the vivid colors of the village against the blue of the sea 🌊If you’re traveling with kids or simply looking for something unique, this place is a must 🙌 I highly recommend Popeye Village for anyone seeking a different kind of charm in Malta. Mdina is the second most famous city of Malta, dating back to the 8th century BC. It is known as "The Silent City" of Malta, due to the fact that it was once the capital of the country, but later the capital was moved into Vittoriosa, leaving Mdina so unhabited that it started being considered as a "ghost" city. The uniqueness of Mdina is, of course, its world-famous medieval and baroque architecture and atmosphere. Being built as a fort, the narrow streets with the tall buildings in orange hues definitely create a mystery vibe and offers countless postcard corners and photo opportunities. The highlight is the Mdina Gate, the entrance of the fort, which the Game of Thrones fans will recognize for sure! Malta🇲🇹1 I went to Fontanella, a shop that is said to have delicious chocolate cake! I went there around noon, but because it was a Sunday, there was a line! However, the turnover rate is relatively fast, so I was able to get a seat without having to wait too long! I went to a cake shop in Mdina, one of the most photogenic spots in Malta, that is famous for being the most delicious in Malta🇲🇹🫶 Mdina is a really cute city, very compact, calm, and just the best🥹 This cake shop is famous for their chocolate cake, but they also have a variety of other cakes🍰 They are all cute and very filling! 📍Malta, Europe, Mdina Mdina has many alleys. It seems to be characterized by buildings decorated with flowers in between. In particular, it is not a flower pot, but a huge flower that is rare to see in Korea, climbing up the wall. I stared blankly for about 5 minutes because it was so huge. The city of Mdina, located about an hour by bus 🚍 from Valletta, is a place that feels like stepping into a dungeon right at the entrance—so exciting! The city itself isn't very large, so you can explore it without spending too much time. Every corner of this picturesque city is like a painting! You can enjoy a leisurely day eating ice cream, buying Maltese glass, and just soaking in the atmosphere. Taking photos around the city is also a lot of fun! Compared to Valletta, Mdina has a more medieval vibe 🏰. Be cautious of heatstroke during the hot summer 👀.

Fly to Malta with Emirates! There are no direct flights, so you have to transfer at least once! On the way from Dubai to Malta, we waited for passengers getting off and boarding at Larnaca Airport, so we landed and waited on the plane for about 1 hour and 30 minutes💦 Malta Airport is small, so it's easy to find. If you want to buy a bus card, it's probably easier to buy it at the airport. This time we stayed at the Preluna Hotel in Sliema! The location was quite good and the reception was very friendly, but the refrigerator in the room was not cold enough, so the prosciutto and yogurt I bought went bad, the cleaners didn't clean depending on the person, the spoon I used the day before was still in the cup, and the amenities said that there was a bathrobe, but there wasn't one, so it was a problem😭 The location is good! Mdina, Valletta, and Citadel are buildings that don't exist in Japan and were quite attractive✨ St. Peter's Pool and Blue Grotto were so beautiful and transparent that I felt like I was being sucked in, and I wanted to jump in. The ferry to Gozo was quite large and wide. You can buy a round trip ticket for the Gozo ferry on your way back or book online. I really liked the Salt Pans on Gozo! I'm looking forward to getting some Gozo salt and using it in my cooking♪ I heard that rabbit dishes are famous, but I don't eat rabbit because I'm reluctant to eat it. There are about three types of pastizzi, and the chicken, cheese, and vegetables were delicious. The Malta supermarket has a lot of cheese, prosciutto, and wine, so I was quite confused😂 The cashiers are generally unfriendly lol. You have to bag the items yourself and there isn't much space, so be careful because if you don't hurry, the next person's bags will keep coming! The vegan gelato was made like rose petals, and you could have as many flavors as you wanted, and it was refreshing and delicious. Overall, most of the staff were expressionless. It didn't seem friendly. I walked along the sea side of Sliema towards Independence Park, where I could relax while looking at the sea, and it was my favorite place. The roads inside the ancient city are narrow and tortuous.
