[Philippines] Manila tourist spots are here!
What would you like to do when you go to Manila in the Philippines? ?
This time, I'll introduce 5 recommended places that are ☝️ when it comes to Manila!
① Intramuros
Visiting the old walled city is a must-do when you come to Manila!
But be careful!
When you're walking through the ruins, some people will start showing you around even if you don't ask them to.
They'll eventually ask you for money.
They say "It's 2,000 yen," so you pay them, but they say "No, it's 2,000 yen per person," and come for an extra serving.
Japanese people are being targeted, so be careful!
② SM Mall of Asia
It's one of the largest shopping malls in Asia!
③ Manila Ocean Park
It's one of the largest aquariums in Asia!
④ Sunset over Manila Bay
When you think of Manila, you think of the sunset!
You can't miss it!
⑤ City of Dreams
It's an integrated resort that offers not only a casino, but also food, shopping, and entertainment.
You can stay here for a night or so. There's also a pool for guests.

This restaurant is a must-visit in Manila! ! !

Location: Barbara's Heritage Restaurant📍
One of my favorite restaurants in Manila ✨
The entire restaurant is decorated in the style of medieval Europe.
Luxurious retro feel (love it 🥹)
No matter how you take pictures, they will turn out great...
Although the food is really ordinary and a bit expensive
But there are bands and traditional Filipino dance performances, which are definitely worth a visit! ! !
And there are museums and churches downstairs of the restaurant⛪️
It's really spectacular and beautiful❤️
With a strong historical feeling and atmosphere
I took a lot of photos along the way📸
Great satisfaction for body, mind and soul! ! !

Manila is a metropolitan area with a population of over 10 million. The metropolis is called Metro Manila, but is often simply called Manila by foreigners and non-residents, and consists of 17 cities and municipalities. This article is about the city; see Metro Manila for the metropolitan area.
It is the second most populous city in the Philippines after Quezon City, the former capital of the Philippines.
Manila and its surrounding areas were unified as Metro Manila to facilitate the management of this super-growth area. Today, the city and its metropolis thrive as cultural and economic centers. But the city also suffers from problems of overpopulation, traffic congestion, and pollution.

Mini Venice in Manila, Philippines!
I visited Venice Grand Canal Mall❤️
As soon as I entered, the colorful buildings and blue waterways caught my eye! After going inside the mall and shopping, you can buy coffee or juice and walk along the waterways, and you can walk along the pretty path surrounded by pretty flowers and flower pots and look around!
Oh, just like Venice, you can ride a boat along the waterways at Venice Grand Canal Mall!!
You can easily see everything in 2 hours, so if you are visiting Manila, Philippines, I recommend stopping by and taking a look!!

Manila Bay to Dolomite Beach — WORLD CLASS!
I and my friends went to Pasay last June for a conference. And on our last day there, we decided to visit Dolomite.
Truly, if you are someone coming from Davao and a legit DABAWENYO, this Dolomite Beach is one of the many things that you can be proud of because of our Tatay President Rodrigo "Digong" Duterte who is our beloved Mayor of Davao years back and now became our former president before BBM.
Dolomite Beach is one of his sooooo many projects! from messy to a great story! Dolomite Beach is the former MANILA BAY.
Above photos gives you an idea of the BEFORE and AFTER of our 2-Kilometer Long artificial beach line.
PRRD for Philippines!

SM Mall of
SM Mall of Asia is one of the largest malls in the Philippines, and even makes the list of the world's largest malls, too. It's certainly not your run-of-the-mill mall but is more of a tourist destination with lots to offer in terms of shopping, leisure, and entertainment. Situated right by the scenic Manila Bay, the mall is a sprawling complex boasting top-tier facilities and a good mix of local and global brands. You can easily spend a day or 2 here shopping or enjoying a drink by the bay in the evening.

The Manila Zoological and Botanical Gardens is an ideal attraction for nature and animal lovers, and is a great place to go during the Dragon Boat Festival.
Manila Bay Beach
#Dragon Boat Festival good places
I went to Manila for vacation during the Dragon Boat Festival. Manila Bay Beach is a famous tourist attraction in Manila, Philippines. It was originally an artificial beach that was transformed to improve the urban environment. Famous for its white sand and spectacular sunset views, it is a great place to relax, take a walk and take photos.
Visitors can take a taxi or Grab from Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport to the beach, which takes about 30 minutes. Buses are also available, but traffic can be congested during peak hours. This is a great place to spend the Dragon Boat Festival, strolling on the beach, watching the sunset, and taking photos of the beautiful sea views.
National Museum of Natural History
Visiting Manila during the Dragon Boat Festival, the National Museum of Natural History located in the heart of Manila is an important cultural and educational site in the Philippines. This museum showcases a rich collection of natural history, including plants, animals, minerals, and fossils, providing visitors with an in-depth understanding of the Philippines' ecological environment and natural resources.
The museum's exhibits, such as specimens of flora and fauna, minerals, and dinosaur fossils, are must-see highlights. Particularly impressive are the unique species native to the Philippines and the massive tree specimens on display. Additionally, the museum's architecture itself holds significant historical value, making it a great destination for the Dragon Boat Festival.
Manila National Museum
#Dragon Boat Festival good places
Go to Manila for vacation during the Dragon Boat Festival. The Manila National Gallery, located in the capital of the Philippines, is an ideal place to learn about Philippine art and history. The museum displays art from the Spanish colonial period to the present day, covering a wide range of fields including painting and sculpture. The museum houses works by famous Filipino artists such as Juan Leon Guico and Carlos Caresberto, which allow visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the national history and culture of the Philippines.
The museum building itself is also of historical value. It was originally a court during the Spanish period and was later restored to become today's art gallery. When visiting, you can not only appreciate beautiful works of art, but also learn about the history and cultural heritage of the Philippines. It is a great place to go during the Dragon Boat Festival.
Casa Manila Museum
#Dragon Boat Festival good places
Travel to Manila during the Dragon Boat Festival. Casa Manila Museum is located in the San Oscar Monastery area of Manila, Philippines. It is a museum that showcases life during the Spanish colonial period. The museum recreates the living environment of a traditional Filipino aristocratic family from the 17th to 19th centuries, displaying the furniture, artworks, and daily necessities of the time, allowing visitors to gain an in-depth understanding of the culture and social structure of the time. The museum's architecture combines Spanish, Filipino and Chinese elements, showing a unique cross-cultural influence, making it a great place to visit during the Dragon Boat Festival.
Manila Ocean Park
Manila Ocean Park is a famous aquarium in the Philippines, located in the heart of Manila. It features a rich display of marine life with over ten thousand species and offers various themed areas such as the underwater tunnel, touch pools, and dolphin shows.
In addition to showcasing marine creatures, the park also has educational facilities that emphasize the importance of ocean conservation and ecological awareness. Visitors can opt for additional experiences like marine theater performances or close encounters with dolphins. It's a great destination for families to explore the mysteries of the ocean and an excellent choice for a Dragon Boat Festival getaway.
Manila Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception
Spending the Dragon Boat Festival holiday in the Philippines, the Manila Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, located in the Intramuros district of Manila, is one of the most significant Catholic churches in the country, boasting a rich historical and cultural background.
This cathedral is renowned for its blend of Spanish colonial and modern architectural styles. Its facade features a magnificent dome, while the interior is adorned with exquisite stained glass windows, stone carvings, and altars, showcasing exceptional artistic value. As a religious center for Catholics, the Manila Cathedral is not only a gathering place for believers but also an ideal destination for visitors to learn about the religious history and culture of the Philippines. Attracting numerous pilgrims and tourists annually, it stands as one of Manila's most iconic landmarks and a great place to visit during the Dragon Boat Festival.
Unusual Manila.
This is an area of Manila where casino hotels are located.
This area has shopping malls and other facilities, so you can see the difference between the local feel of the people who work there and the foreigners who stay at casino hotels.
The hotel security is solid, so you can enjoy yourself without worry. (It's safer not to go out much at night and enjoy games at the casino every night.)
All hotels have well-equipped gyms and pools. Your body will feel a little chilled by the air conditioning, so you can cool down a little by getting some natural air in the pool.
SM Mall of Asia has an air-conditioned Ferris wheel, and you can get a panoramic view of the beautiful seaside city.
Meals are expensive inside the hotels, but once you leave the casino area, you'll find a department store-like place where you can eat relatively cheaply.
We had the bat choy and sisig shown in the photo at a restaurant in downtown Manila where locals line up.
The fountain show at Okada Manila is also impressive.
Even if you're not a guest, you can make a casino card and play, and you can also see the fountain show.
