The "three streets" refer to Xingning Road, Minsheng Road, and Jiefang Road pedestrian streets, and the "two alleys" refer to Jinshi Alley and Yinshi Alley. You can go to the upper floor of Baisheng Building to take photos of the sunset or night view of Changyou Pavilion. ✅️Tingzi Wharf: Backed by Tingzi Riverside Park, there is a night market in the evening. If you like shopping, you can go there at night. ✅️Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Museum: Visit in the order of 2nd floor—3rd floor—1st floor, with a focus on the 2nd floor (important cultural relics and local history) ✅️Shengtiandi: Check in at the steps from the 1st floor to the basement. The best place for photographers to take photos is the window of the dessert shop next to it. ✅️Qingxiu Mountain: A 5A scenic spot, very large. We chose to visit some of the attractions such as the Orchid Garden, Shade Plant Garden, and Ancient and Modern Viewing Platform. Nanning 2-day travel guide, no need to be a special forces soldier! Now is a great time for a family trip. If you don't want to rush or stay outdoors for too long, and want to enjoy a leisurely trip in Nanning, check out my guide! 🚶🏻‍♂️My itinerary: Day 1: Sanjie Liangxiang - Shuiyang Market (watch the iron flower show) Day 2: Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Museum - Qingxiu Mountain 📍Sanjie Liangxiang 🏛️Sanjie Liangxiang is the largest historical and cultural district in Nanning's main urban area, located by the Yongjiang River. It not only preserves ancient residential buildings but also integrates modern commercial streets, with many delicious foods and shopping malls. 🫕Here you can not only taste local specialties but also visit historical sites, killing two birds with one stone! 📍Minsheng Square Shuiyang Market 🌅Minsheng Square is just across the street from Sanjie Liangxiang. There is a Changyou Pavilion here, where you can enjoy the view of the Yongjiang River, take a walk along the river, and enjoy the breeze. You can also watch the sunset in the evening. 💥There is also an intangible cultural heritage iron flower show at 8 pm or 10 pm, highly recommended! 📍Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Museum 🎟️Tickets: Free, reservation required ⏱️Opening hours: 9:00-17:00, closed on Mondays❗️ 🏫This is a national first-class museum, a comprehensive history museum where you can explore history and culture. 🐲This year, there is also a special exhibition of the animal heads from the Old Summer Palace, which requires a separate ticket for 30 yuan. If you want to visit the entire area, it is recommended to spend at least an afternoon. This winter is just like spring, no joke. It happened to be a weekend with very good weather, so I took an hour-long subway ride to come and see it. If you have enough time, Qingxiu Mountain is worth spending a whole day on. 2️⃣ Guangxi National Museum Free, reservation required. Located by the Yongjiang River, it is a specialized museum showcasing ethnic culture, featuring the traditional cultural characteristics of the 12 indigenous ethnic groups in Guangxi. It's worth a visit. 3️⃣ ASEAN Business District The famous Nanning staircase is here, and there are many restaurants nearby. It's perfect to have a meal here after shopping. 4️⃣ Yuanyang Building "Z"-shaped staircase, symmetrical old residential building, full of a sense of age and stories. However, it looks very dilapidated in reality. If you are not interested in taking photos, you can skip it. 5️⃣ Tangren Cultural Street Close to Yuanyang Building, this street is full of antiques, old toys, and cultural items. It's a treasure hunting paradise, perfect for those who love to shop for unique items. 6️⃣ Deng Yingchao Museum Free, reservation required. I learned from a play that she was the wife of Premier Zhou Enlai. Here, Deng Yingchao's story is vividly presented before my eyes. There is a special exhibition hall displaying letters between her and Zhou Enlai, which are incredibly sweet. The love between the Premier and his wife brought tears to my eyes. 7️⃣ Three Streets and Two Alleys This area has many Guangxi specialty snacks, similar to the must-visit streets in every city, perfect for a city walk. 7️⃣ Pavilion Wharf European-style castle, as if you were in Prague Square. Come here to catch a sunset and see the rose waterfall. 8️⃣ Yongjiang Night Cruise The lights of Changyou Pavilion reflect on the shimmering river. There are people singing by the river, and everyone sits on the steps, swaying to the rhythm, quietly listening or softly singing along. It's a very atmospheric night. 🏨 About Accommodation & Dining It is recommended to stay near Mixc Mall, which is convenient for transportation and dining. Nanning has a rich variety of local delicacies and many great restaurants, including various types of noodles. The cost-effectiveness is very high. You can consider visiting during this time.

Since we took the high-speed train from Chongzuo back to Nanning early in the morning, it was already 4 PM when we arrived in Nanning, leaving us with limited time to stay in Qingxiu Mountain Park. We decided to take the sightseeing bus and only photograph the upper part of the park. Our route started with getting off at Tianchi, where we took some photos of the lake and the surrounding scenery. Tianchi is a large artificial lake halfway up Qingxiu Mountain. The water glistens, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds, earning it the nickname 'Tower Reflection Tianchi.' Next, we walked to the symbol of Qingxiu Mountain - Longxiang Tower. The tower stands 52.35 meters high and 12 meters wide, with an internal spiral staircase of 207 steps leading to the top. It is the tallest tower in Guangxi. From the top, you can overlook the scenery of Yongjiang River and the new city of Langdong in Nanning. If you get hungry, you can visit nearby snack shops for a grilled sausage or corn, all freshly made and delicious. After visiting Longxiang Tower, we walked to Huanshan Xiuping, a large grassland where we could lie down and rest. This grassland covers nearly 100 acres, and lying on this green carpet-like field, you can feel a sense of relaxation and comfort, making it an excellent place to rest. Finally, we arrived at Guanyin Zen Temple. We didn't visit the temple itself but stayed here to photograph the sunset, evening glow, and night view. From 6 PM, we had our equipment set up, capturing the fiery sunset first, followed by the evening glow connecting the sky and earth, and finally, the starry night view, making for a spectacular conclusion. This skyline is undoubtedly one of the most impressive I've ever seen. Recommended Spots: Guanyin Zen Temple (night view, sunset, evening glow) Huanshan Xiuping Tianchi Longxiang Tower

Located in the heart of Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, there is a historical district that has been gently treated by time - Sanjie Liangxiang. Guangxi is really a great place hehe. I checked into this homestay and it feels pretty good. It's a great place to slack off, with beautiful scenery and the facilities are also among the best I've experienced in so many homestays. Since it's quite remote, there's a restaurant inside the homestay, and the food is quite tasty, just a bit pricey. Nearby, you can drive for half an hour to Wu Ming town for some delicious barbecue that's also cheap!! I went to the homestay during the May Day holiday, and there were lots of activities during the holiday period like catching crayfish, experiencing indigo dyeing, etc. The breakfast was rich and delicious.
