It’s a short, easy walk and 100% worth it. The view from the top is breathtaking, and the photos? Absolutely stunning – think postcard-worthy moments with blue skies and endless sea. It’s one of those spots that makes you stop and just take it all in. 🍽️ And let’s talk about breakfast – my absolute favorite part! The variety was amazing, from local bites to Western comfort food. Everything was fresh, colorful, and super tasty. I honestly woke up excited for breakfast every day. ☕ After eating, we’d grab a cup of coffee and just sit by the sea, sipping slowly and soaking in the peaceful view. That quiet moment—with the breeze in our faces, waves in the background, and a warm mug in hand—was pure bliss. Simple, calm, and unforgettable. 🌊 To mix it up, we also went outside the hotel to hunt down some local seafood, and wow – what a treat! Freshly grilled prawns, spicy crab, and all the local flavors that hit just right after a beach day. It's a must-do if you’re into trying something more local and authentic. #favouriteitinerary Spend a day with me at the beachfront hotel of Ngwe Saung. Aureum Palace hotel is a beachfront hotel that serves amazing breakfast at a central location of the beach. Their pool has an amazing view of the beach and having some cocktails at night while hearing the sounds of the wave is truly magical. They have a kid’s playground too for those coming on family vacations. I went there with friends and the entrance of the hotel itself just blew us away. Safety is also not a worry as the hotel staff are very helpful and mindful of their guests! Definitely a great stay for people looking to visit Ngwe Saung Beach in Myanmar.

An unspoilt 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) stretch of silvery sand and modern amenities have made Ngwe Hsaung a popular destination for less budget conscious tourists from Lower Myanmar. Still Ngwe Hsaung has much to develop. Its choices for nightlife activities remain paltry, even by local standards. Chaung Thar and Ngapali beaches have greater choices of nighttime activities. At this point, a nearby elephant training camp is a main daytime attraction at Ngwe Hsaung.

For breakfast, you can choose from the breakfast menu and they will serve you, and the menu and description are quite satisfactory. And it was fun to see my sparrow eating and running away right in front of my eyes. 🤭 ▫️Disappointing part 👙There were a lot of bugs in the pool, so they should have filtered them out with a sieve.. They said they didn't filter them out because no one was swimming. Actually, I didn't swim because they didn't filter them out with a sieve... #Ho-kang-seu

There's a massage room if you go out to the beach, and I recommend getting a massage while looking at the beach through the window👍 🌴Hammock During the day, even the palm trees don't provide any shade, so the sunlight shines directly in. Strolling on the beach is the perfect plan to spend a relaxing morning or afternoon in Ngwe Saung-Myanmar. The beach is not too big so you can walk pretty much the entire island easily. Going to the beach and walking along the sea is definitely a good way to recharge batteries and getting all the sun we missed in winter. The sand is soft so you feel you are walking on Powder. You won’t get bored as you will have fun collecting the colourful shells on the shore. Enjoy the sound of the waves and the smell of the sea, specially if you live in a country or city without a coast. Sunscreen is always a must if you don’t want to ruin your holidays due to sun burnt. You can avoid noon time as the heat is on the pick. Early morning or afternoon is a pleasant time. Do not miss out the sunsets in this place.
