I'll definitely stay at this hotel next time I'm in Boao. Great value for money!
🏨【Qionghai Boao Heyue Seaview Hotel Review】——CNY 300+ per person🌅【Location: Quiet Coastal Paradise】
The hotel is located on Binhai Avenue, Boao Town, a 3-minute walk from the beach and about 8 km from the Boao Forum for Asia, a 15-minute drive away. It's a 1.5-hour drive from Haikou Meilan International Airport, and there's free parking right outside, perfect for families with cars🚗. Nearby, you'll find seafood restaurants and small supermarkets, offering a convenient location away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Enjoy watching fishing boats return to port from your balcony in the morning, and stroll along the beach at sunset for breathtaking views🌇.
🏡【Ambiance & Amenities: A Small but Beautiful Beach Resort】
The hotel's blue and white exterior evokes a tropical vacation vibe. The central courtyard garden, though small, is exquisitely designed: palm trees surround the outdoor pool, complete with lounge chairs and colorful parasols, creating the perfect Instagrammable backdrop📸. Families with children can enjoy the kids' pool and foosball area, while business travelers have access to a small meeting room. Couples will love the oceanfront swing. A highlight is the private beach boardwalk leading to a secluded, picturesque bay, where you can collect seashells and spot crabs at low tide – a delight for kids🦀. The only downside is the shallow pool (maximum depth 1.4m), which might not be ideal for serious swimmers.
🛏️【Room Experience: Affordable Ocean Views】
We booked a Deluxe Ocean View Room, approximately 45㎡, and were pleasantly surprised by the unobstructed ocean views for under CNY 1,000🌊! The room is decorated in shades of off-white and light blue, with a Boao fishing port illustration above the bed. The balcony, furnished with a tea table and chairs, is the perfect spot to sip coconut water and watch the waves. The bedding is high-quality cotton, and the bathroom features a separate shower and toilet, a smart toilet, and a rainforest showerhead. Bonus points for the free sand toys and sunscreen (available at the front desk), and the plush toys in the family rooms. The only minor complaint: the signal can be weak on lower floors, requiring connection to the hotel Wi-Fi.
🍽️【Dining: Local Flavors and Great Value】
The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of local snacks, including Hainanese pickled noodles, multigrain cakes, and Ching Bo Leung, along with freshly brewed coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice☕. For lunch, we recommend the hotel's "Fisherman's Delight" stir-fry, featuring crispy fried Spanish mackerel and a tangy, spicy snail and bamboo shoot dish. A satisfying meal for around CNY 60 per person. For dinner, take a 5-minute walk to the beachfront restaurants, where you can choose your own fresh seafood and have it cooked to order, enjoying a seafood feast for about CNY 100 per person🦞. The service was excellent: the friendly front desk staff offered helpful recommendations for local activities, and the housekeeping staff thoughtfully arranged our slippers and water glasses, all without being overly intrusive.
