In Sauraha Village, you can cross a long bridge while looking at the magnificent nature and visit the elephant breeding center. You can also relax at a restaurant or cafe overlooking the river, and you're sure to be soothed by the birds' chirping and the flow of the river. 🦢✨️ Near the long bridge, various local souvenirs, including Nepali honey, are sold. 🐝 The elephant breeding center is surprisingly close to the elephants, so if you're visiting with children, it's a good idea to be careful not to get too close. Cafe de Sauraha is a great place to go for a coffee if you are in Chitwan, Nepal. Located on the Sauraha main road, its special quality is that it has lots of different types of coffee beans and a large menu to chose from. An average coffee is around 19rmb and there is a lovely calm ambiance in there because of the music that they play. There is free wifi, multiple charging points and it’s a great place to catch up with friends or do some work. It is open between 10am and 5pm and can be quite busy in the morning

Friends cafe is situated on the rooftop on Sauraha Main Street and is open from 12pm - 10pm. They have an indoor and outdoor door place making it a perfect space to sit and watch people walk by with a very relaxed ambiance. The staff are very attentive and they serve a range of dishes which cost around 60rmb each. The reason to come here is that the staff are very nice and friendly and go out of their way to make your visit comfortable. The momo dish is local and very popular too

Hotel Rainforest is situated on Sauraha Main Street right in the heart of Chitwan and a 5 minute drive from the national park. On average it costs around 500 rmb per night and the rooms are big with free WiFi, air conditioning and two balconies. They have big gardens, paintings of animals and a big swimming pool which gives it a very natural and clam ambiance. The restaurant is open from 9am to 9pm and the reception is 24 hours. The special thing about this hotel is the staff who are knowledgeable, helpful and make sure that you have everything you need
