If you’re going to Madrid, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is worth a visit too! About an hour or so away, one can conveniently purchase a bus ticket at the Madrid Moncloa station for maybe around 10 euros for a return ticket (I’m sorry I forgot the exact price but it was affordable!). And the bus takes you right to the centre of Segovia, which is great. From there, in just 10 minutes or so you can walk/stroll to this amazing, impressive aqueduct, very obviously the main feature of this town. It’s unmissable and even the main street leading up to it is named after it. Its grand and old and anything grand and old is worth looking at, in my opinion hahaha because hey, it’s been standing for ages. We visited this two beautiful historical cities the same day. I will highly recommend doing one day for each if you have the time, while you are in Spain, every single local recommended renting a car and doing it in your own time since the group tours are tight and won’t wait for anybody which is understandable. The food in Segovia is very different and Toledo has an amazing charm to it.
