Achi Village is a small village nestled deep in the mountains of Minami Shinshu, Nagano Prefecture. Achi Village is famous as the "village with the most beautiful starry sky in Japan" certified by the Ministry of the Environment, but it is also the "number one paradise in Japan" with about 10,000 peach blossoms in spring. The best time to see them is usually from mid-April to early May. *Due to global warming, the time varies each year. Hirugami Onsen's Achi Village is renowned as Japan's number one starry sky village. From late April to mid-May, it transforms into a veritable paradise of peach blossoms. Near Hirugami Onsen, a 4-kilometer trail is lined with over 5,000 peach trees in shades of red and white. Adjacent to the trail is National Route 256, which connects the Ina Valley and the Kiso Road. Along this 40-kilometer stretch, tens of thousands of peach trees bloom, earning it the nickname 'Peach Blossom Road'.
