#seasonalplacesinjapan #Niigata #domestictravel "Snow Country Retreat" regenerates the region and regenerates me𓂃𓃱𓈒𓏸 The setting is Tsunan Town, Niigata Prefecture, and I participated in the Snow Country Retreat monitor tour❄️ What is Snow Country Retreat☃️ An experiential travel plan in one of Japan's leading snowfall regions, an extraordinary space of overwhelming nature and unique culture🍃 It's a new style of travel that allows you to get away from your daily life, face yourself, and relax your mind and body through various programs🌛 At Snow Country Retreat, The tour was conducted in the order of "time to find yourself → time to move your body → time to think", so there was plenty of free time rather than a tight schedule 🤍 On this tour, we mainly experienced ① Singing Ring, ② Walking around the area touching snow, and ③ Pastel art 🌿 ① Singing Ring Handcrafted by Japanese craftsmen one by one, it is the only acoustic instrument in the world that can play the countless overtones that exist in nature with one hit 🫧 This precious sound has been academically proven to balance the meridians, reduce stress, and increase calm, and we were able to "sound bathe" and fully heal our minds and bodies 🥹🪽 ② Walking around the area The snow makes a "mugi mugi" sound every time you step on it, and the sound of it crumbles when you touch it, and we quietly enjoyed the soundless world that is hard to find on slopes or tourist spots, while also laughing like a child while buried in snow 🤭 We enjoyed the fluffy, moist, high-quality fresh snow as much as we could. I had so much fun ⛄️ ③ Pastel art Follow your heart and your feelings, layer your favorite colors and experience art 🎨 Working together was fun, like going back to school, and when we lined up the finished works, I honestly thought "everyone is different and everyone is good ✨" ☺️ The way people live with the sun and in tune with the seasons is very peaceful, and it was a trip that made me vaguely think that this is the richness of life 😌💭

At Echigo Tanaka Onsen Shinano-so, we enjoyed a Japanese breakfast made with fresh local ingredients 🤍 The rice made with Niigata Prefecture's rice and the simmered seasonal vegetables were particularly delicious, giving a sense of luxury unique to a hot spring inn ✨ The quality of the food was high, and each dish had a homemade feel that made for a comforting breakfast 🍚 Especially the local vegetable ohitashi and egg dishes were fresh and flavorful, providing plenty of energy for the morning ❕ Additionally, the meal service was attentive, making guests feel well-cared for. The rice balls for lunch were also incredibly delicious 🍙

Echigo Tanaka Onsen Shinano-so offers 11 rooms, including those renovated in 2024, featuring traditional Japanese tatami flooring🍃 The spacious layout and large windows offering natural scenery are wonderful, allowing guests to relax while gazing at the Shinano River🤍 The rooms are clean and comfortable, with the renovated rooms being particularly cozy🤗 Relaxing on the sofa by the window or in the spacious veranda while enjoying the view is truly soothing, and the well-thought-out design enhances comfort👀 This inn provides a tranquil environment and a pleasant space for an extraordinary relaxation experience✨

#timetotravel 500 thousand sunflowers bloom broadly in this 4 hectare field. The children's sunflower maze inside the field is one popular attraction. Guests can get a panoramic view of the sunflower field from the observation platform, where they can surely take photos that they will like. Outdoor stalls line the plaza area, energizing the entire venue.
