I spent only a night with my camper but for sure not the last time. Just an amazing place and for star lovers! take your telescope if you can, ther is no light pollution and a wonderful heaven. And sooo calm. Super hospitality Great setting with wonderful views and lovely welcoming hosts! It really is a lovely campsite – there were very few others staying whilst we were there and we chose a pitch at the far end of the site so really felt like there was no-one else around. Extremely peaceful. Camp Amandara is campsite located in a 180-acre private estate adjacent to a forest reserve. Sungai Raga waterfall is just located 8-minutes walk away from the campsite. #spooktaculartrip Pulau Song Song is situated about an hour slow boat ride to the west of Yan, Kedah, south west of Song Song there is a rocky outcrop called Tukun Terendak, we did our first dive there. To the south of Song Song there are another 2 islands, Pulau Telor and Pulau Bidan, we didn’t dive there, but I believe it would also be interesting to dive there too. From Song Song we could see Gunung Jerai from the west, it looked gorgeous from that direction. There is this waterfall perhaps several hundred meter ASL, and at least a hundred meter tall that is visible even from Song song … I wonder what is that waterfall called? Batu Hampar?

Gunung Jerai is the highest mountain in Kedah. You can see the beautiful of Kedah from the top. It has a breathtaking view of the sea and an endless paddy field. Had a lovely evening at Pantai Tanjung Dawai.The sea smell that calm you from inside.There is local stall that you can buy food at eating near the sea.There is a boat run by locals if you want to go to Pantai Merdeka.I wuld love to try it someday.

#myhiddengems Stayed here for the night during my tour. Met the owner, very pleasant and friendly guy. Concept of the property is great, has a kampung style feel. Rooms are clean. Staff is were very helpful in providing information and arranging the needs of the guests. Lots of activities can be arranged and provided by resort. Morning view of the paddy fields we just awesome.

#myhiddengems The place was so scenic and the water was amazing. But visitors should be more responsible by not littering and leaving their garbage or personal belongings behind. Help the visitors, please make sure you don't leave the garbage you bring (plastic wraps and others) in the waterfall area, you have caused trouble and damaged the beautiful scenery of this area.. your cooperation is greatly appreciated, let's preserve this recreation area.

#myhiddengems The resort is beautiful, very calm, and offers a lot of fun activities. You can visit the front office to ask about all the activities they provide. The food provided is nice, and the buffet spread is varied. I love their steamboat buffet, and the Jungle Cafe is so beautiful. However, the drinks at the Jungle Cafe are too sweet for me, as if there is not enough coffee. The bed is comfy, and the room is spacious.

Last weekend getaway with family. Mount Jerai (Malay: Gunung Jerai), formerly Kedah Peak, is a mountain in Kedah, Malaysia with the height of 3,993 feet (1,217 m). Totally unexpected It was an impromptu outing, no expectation. It just feel like not knowing what to and where to go. Then Gunung Jerai crossed in mind. A few message exchanges with friend then we were already uphill. The journey itself was challenging but manageable. The views up there were breathtaking with cool breeze. Hydrangeas can be found everywhere. There were a few adventure activities available but I was not into it.

You can do BBQ and take a bath here. There are also facilities such as toilet and prayer room for muslim. The waterfall itself is majestic and beautiful to behold. This place also isn't usually crowded, so you can picnic with peace. Enjoy the lush nature, cooling and windy surroundings with birds chirping .
