I took a day trip to "Kiroro Snow World" in Akaigawa Village, Hokkaido! It's just about a 60-minute drive from Sapporo, making it super accessible. The resort boasts incredibly light and fluffy powder snow, truly showcasing the fun of "Japow." Every time fresh snow falls, the courses are renewed, and skiing on the slopes under clear skies felt absolutely magical! With a total of 23 courses, the resort offers plenty of off-piste and tree-run options. The gondolas and high-speed lifts are comfortable, allowing you to efficiently ski from the summit to the base. For families and beginners, the snow park is perfect, featuring sledding and tubing activities that kids will absolutely love! Additionally, Kiroro has two hotels on-site, complete with hot springs and an ice bar, offering a well-rounded resort experience even after skiing. #0yentravel Yoichi Station is a station on the Hakodate Main Line, located very close to the Nikka Whisky distillery. When I visited, there were a lot of tourists and the area around the station was lively. The station building, which retains its traditional atmosphere, exudes a calm atmosphere that is characteristic of the town of Yoichi. However, I felt a little sad when I learned that this section of the Hakodate Main Line is scheduled to be abolished in the future due to the extension of the Hokkaido Shinkansen. It is close to Sapporo Station and has many users, so it seems that local residents are still calling for the line to remain. I also hope that it will be preserved at least up to this station.

Yoichi Station is a charming station located in Yoichi Town, Hokkaido. Opened in 1922, it has been used by many people as a key transportation hub in the area. The station building has a retro atmosphere, and the surrounding area is filled with beautiful nature, especially the clear waters of Ichikawa and the mountain scenery, which give a sense of the charm of the four seasons. The station is also easily accessible to tourist attractions, such as Yoichi Winery and seafood spots! It's been a while since my last trip to Hokkaido!! It was early November, but it was extremely cold. Because it was during the holidays, I had to wait in line for over an hour at Kitaichi Glass Building No. 3... The ocean photo is from a place that is said to be the very edge of Hokkaido! The wind was strong and the level of cold was different, but I was overwhelmed by the beautiful view.
