Taking my parents on the fourth stop of our trip, we arrived at the Huangguoshu Waterfall in Anshun, and there happened to be a homestay brand that I really like, so I chose this homestay without hesitation. Huangguoshu Waterfall is the first waterfall in China and a national scenic spot in China. There are 18 waterfalls on the ground and 14 waterfalls under the ground. The most unique thing about Huangguoshu Waterfall is that there is a 100-meter-long water curtain cave behind the waterfall.

The waterfall is amazing! Especially when you are going through the tunnel under it. But gosh, it was sososo crowded this July: in the line in the tunnel people almost didn't move... Last year, one of the most famous waterfall in China launch night travel. It is a wonderful experience to both experience the beauty of nature with well designed performance and light show. With student discounts, only 100+ bucks, it is well worth the experience. When we are traveling, due to the Covid reason, the attraction is almost empty, which gives tourists much better experience. The performance is great, and at night, the temperature is much cooler. Such tour is recommended if you want to have a less crowded experience for the waterfall and enjoy the wanderful performances. The only downside is that the tickets is different from the day travel and you cannot buy one ticket to enjoy both day view and night view.

It is currently the off-season, which is the dry season. It is expected that the water volume will be larger and more abundant during the high-water season in June and July. Cost: The entrance ticket is CNY 210, plus CNY 30 for the one-way escalator to the Great Waterfall, for a total of CNY 240. The scenic shuttle bus is included in the CNY 210 ticket. It's not crowded, and the scenic area is well-designed. There are shuttle buses at the entrances of the three scenic spots that can freely shuttle you to the Great Waterfall, the Tianxing Bridge, and the Dipo Pond, all with seats.
