We go to Zhujiajian by driving 300 kilometers from Shanghai, which takes about 5 hours. This time we chose to stay in a B&B in the exclusive Greentown area next to the Westin Hotel. The B&B has a large balcony and you can directly see the beach in the Nansha Scenic Area. You can watch the sunrise in the morning and fireworks in the evening. It only takes 10 minutes by car to Nansha Scenic Area, which is very convenient. The next day we drove to the pier and took a boat to Mount Putuo. I took a Didi from Ningbo. ⛺️This site is peaceful with nice views from the wide window Inside the 🚐caravan. Definitely won’t recommend if you want a real camp experience because it’s luxury glamping. My friends and I tried to turn this into a less luxurious glamping experience by bringing our own food and 🍗🍖bbq grill to prepare all meals by fire. Zhoushan was a quick stay over on our way to Shengshan island for a few days. We stayed at a lovely homestay A Hotel and had some delicious BBQ for dinner. Interestingly we found out that you cn't swim anywhere in Zhoushan without paying. The host of the Homestay explained that it was because they were very serious about safety and the funds went towards paying lifegaurds.
