[Shima Onsen, Gunma Prefecture] Nakaseikan ~River and open-air bath~

I stayed at Nakanojo Shima Onsen's Nakaseikan, a hot spring inn located at the very back of the Shima Onsen in Gunma Prefecture. The recommended thing about this inn is the open-air bath! There are several open-air baths, but one is located along the river just past the red bridge over the river. Listening to the murmuring of the river and soaking in the open-air bath while feeling as if you are one with nature was a wonderful experience. This open-air bath along the river is only open in the summer, so please be careful when making a reservation. The inn's meals are served in the room in so many varieties that you can't finish them all. Everything was very delicious.
