Autumn in Aix-en-Provence

Located around 30 km north of Marseille, Aix-en-Provence is a university city that is wonderful to be visited in autumn. The inhabitants here are called Aixois and include everyone who lives here, including the students. During autumn when classes begin, it is difficult not to bump into étudiants in this city. The old town of Aix-en-Provence has existed since the Roman times and this is where the beautiful buildings are, such as the town hall, the square, cathedral and other ancient monuments.
