Sandankyo Gorge

Sandankyo Gorge is located within the Nishi-Chugoku Sanchi Quasi-National Park in the northwest of Hiroshima City. It is one of Japan's five gorges, valleys, and ravines designated as a 'Special National Scenic Spot.' Notably, following the World Heritage sites of Miyajima and the Atomic Bomb Dome, Sandankyo received the highest accolade of '3 stars' in the renowned French travel magazine 'Blue Guide,' published in February 2015.
