We originally planned to have breakfast at a restaurant nearby, but it was still closed when we arrived. Thankfully, we stumbled upon Lawson Akita Bay Paradise—and what a lucky find it turned out to be. This Lawson had a dedicated sit-down area, which made it perfect for a quick and comfortable breakfast. We picked up some hot food and coffee, and enjoyed it right away without needing to eat on the go or in the car. What really stood out was the kindness of the staff. One lady noticed we were foreigners and immediately offered help with the coffee machine—such a warm and thoughtful gesture that made us feel welcomed. Parking was right outside, and just across the road was the bay with a great view of wind turbines turning quietly in the distance. It was peaceful, scenic, and unexpectedly memorable for what was meant to be a simple convenience store stop.
