Panfilov-28 Heroes Memorial Park.

The Panfilov-28 Heroes Memorial Park is located in Almaty. It was built to commemorate the 28 heroes of the Panfilov Division (Kazakh Division) who fought in the Battle of Moscow. In November 1941, only 40 kilometers away from the center of Moscow, the division bravely fought against the German army for 4 hours and did not allow the German army to advance a single step. The 28 brave warriors of the division blocked the German tanks with anti-tank guns, gasoline bottles, and finally cluster grenades to die together with the tanks. They all died heroically, including the division commander Panfilov. Every country has heroes, and the 28 brave men of the Panfilov Division are Soviet heroes.
