🇦🇶 Day 1-4: Cruise embarkation + Drake Passage

Day 1️⃣: Quark Expedition will have all its guests check in at the designated hotel. From my experience this time, I was allocated to stay in Day 2️⃣: Embarkation to the cruise ship began at around 4 pm, thus, the morning was for guests to check out of the hotel and do some last-minute exploring of the town. Day 3️⃣-4️⃣: Crossing the Drake Passage - Drake Passage is the infamous body of water that all ships have to pass through to reach the Antarctic Peninsula, it is known for its rough conditions of massive waves and high wind speeds. - To maximise our experience and time during those 2 days at sea, the Quark Expedition team organized multiple activities and lectures for all guests to join and broaden their knowledge about the South Pole's history and all kinds of wildlife that can be found in Antarctica. #travel#staycation#naturalwonders#thingstodo#seascapes#myitinerary
