The view from Cape Ogibe is amazing!

Recommended scenic spot: Iioka Gyobu Misaki Observatory Address: 1309-1 Kaminagai, Asahi City, Chiba Prefecture Gyobu Misaki is pronounced "Gyobu Misaki". This is a 65-meter cape located at the southern end of Byobugaura, jutting out into the Pacific Ocean. The view from the cape has been selected as one of Japan's Night View Heritage, Japan's 100 Best Night Views, Japan's 100 Best Sunsets, Japan's 100 Best Sunrises, and Kanto's 100 Best Views of Mt. Fuji. In winter, if the weather is good, you can see Mt. Fuji, and in late February, if the conditions are good, you can see "Diamond Fuji," where the sun sets over the top of Mt. Fuji.
