The National Museum of Turkmenistan is located on the southern side of Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. It is an impressive structure covering an area of 22,500 square meters, with 16,000 square meters dedicated to exhibitions. The main building of the museum includes a conference hall, exhibition halls, offices, storage rooms, a technical restoration department, and a café. There are four semi-circular open-air theaters outside the main building. The exhibition halls are divided into various sections, including an independent hall, a natural history hall, a prehistoric hall, an ancient history hall, a medieval history hall, and a folklore hall, with approximately 20,000 exhibits. Foreign tourists can visit some sections of the museum, including the History Hall, the Natural History Hall, and the Presidential Hall. The entrance fee is $10.
