Solo Trip to Fukuoka, Japan | Seamlessly Transition Between Nature and the City.

Day 1: Had a meal and wandered around (you can check out the nearby Don Quijote! Lots of snacks, open 24 hours). Many other stores close by 8 PM, so it's convenient to mark the stores you want to visit and check their opening hours. When the time comes, you can see which ones are open and nearby. Day 2️⃣ Highlights❗ ❗️❗️ I joined a day tour departing from Fukuoka, visiting Aso Mountain, Kusasenri, Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine, and Kurokawa Onsen. The schedule was very reasonable. 1️⃣ Had lunch at Aso Mountain, enjoying the scenery while eating. Meals range from simple to luxurious, and WeChat Pay is accepted. 2️⃣ Due to time and weather, I chose a place to experience an open-air hot spring at Kurokawa Onsen. There's no time limit, but it was too hot, so I soaked for about 20 minutes. It was beautiful in the bamboo forest (but since it's open-air, there were some bugs on the water surface). The guide mentioned an oldest hot spring from the Showa era that costs only 200 yen, but the facilities are probably quite old. It's up to you if you dare to try it, haha. I was quite curious. You can bring your own towel, or rent or buy one at the hot spring shop. Renting costs 200 yen, buying costs 400 yen (with a Kumamon towel, which I bought as a souvenir). You don't need to wear anything in the Japanese hot springs, and you don't need to bring other clothes. Day 3️⃣ On the third day, I went cycling in Itoshima. I took the subway to Chikuzen-Maebaru, then went to the nearby Itoshima Tourist Center (I think that's what it's called) to rent an electric-assisted bicycle for 1400 yen/4 hours, with optional insurance for 300 yen (which covers bicycle damage). I cycled to the white torii gate, stopping to take photos and have a meal. The timing was just right. In the afternoon, I went shopping. Mina has a lot of stuff, including Uniqlo, Loft, and Bookoff (a shopping destination for poor students, haha). (⚠️ You need to take off your shoes in the fitting room, which I didn't notice at first). Day 4️⃣ It rained, so I first went to the nearby post office to send a postcard to myself, then went shopping again, haha. I also visited a filming location for Natsume's Book of Friends and had a brief encounter with a girl from Hiroshima.
