Coming here saved an entire trip 🌋

Made a last minute decision to go to Mt. Aso in central Kyushu, which consists of several volcanos formed 300,000 - 90,000 years ago. Nakadake is the only active one out of these volcanos and unfortunately someone crashed their plane inside of the crater so now it’s not possible to walk up there. Honestly didn’t expect to see this kind of scenery in Japan. Also coming here probably saved this part of the trip because the weather has been so bad for the last few days. #no-ai
