Visiting the Acropolis

#createwithtrip #historywalk When in Athens, a visit to the Acropolis is a must. It is the most striking and complete ancient Greek monumental complex still existing in our times. We noticed that the buildings in this capital of Greece are not very high (most have a maximum of only 6 floors) and soon realised that is to ensure the Acropolis can be spotted easily from anywhere and everywhere in the city. Climbing to the Parthenon at the top of the ruins, we also managed a panoramic view of the capital city from our vantage point.
