Awaji Island! A power spot in the local monument Eshima Iwaya! The sea is beautiful! It's also a great spot with a great view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge in the background.

This is an uninhabited island with exposed sandstone layers from about 20 million years ago. Due to weathering, it was once possible to enter the island, but now it is prohibited to do so. The bridge that has been completed is sturdy and we were able to go right up to the entrance to the island. The torii gate at the top of Eshima can be seen. The mysterious pattern looks mystical, and it is easy to see why the island itself is considered a power spot. It is a short walk from Iwaya Port, so it is recommended to go there for a walk.
