Awaji Island: Recommended Photo Spot - Hyakudan-en Garden

This garden was created as a 'Garden of Prayer' for the victims of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. Each block is planted with green plants and flowers, including sunflowers. The view of the sea from the hilltop was spectacular, but I was particularly moved by the beauty of the green mountains and Hyakudan-en Garden against the summer sky. It is also a popular photo spot. Highly recommended for Awaji Island sightseeing. Designed by architect Tadao Ando, it is a popular tourist spot.
