It is a large composite volcano with an altitude of 2,551 meters. It is adjacent to another volcano, Mount Budger. Mount Kawi has no record of volcanic eruptions, but it has spectacular mountain scenery and rich vegetation. When I went to this volcano, I felt very amazed and excited. I took a bus from Malang City and drove along the winding mountain road for about three hours to reach the foot of the volcano. I rented a motorcycle and drove along a dirt road, enjoying the beautiful pastoral scenery along the way, and finally arrived at the entrance of the volcano. I bought a 5,000 rupiah ticket and started my mountaineering journey. I walked along a clear trail and saw all kinds of plants along the way, some of which I had never seen before. I heard the singing of birds, the buzzing of insects, and the sound of the stream flowing. I felt the vitality and energy of nature. It took me about an hour to reach the top of the mountain. I think it was worth it because I saw a breathtaking sight. I saw a vast valley, and a huge crater. It was like a mysterious cave, which aroused my curiosity. I took a lot of photos and then sat there, enjoying the breeze and sunshine.
