It's very interesting to see the growing number of Tiam coffee shops in Denpasar. Compared to 5-6 years ago, of course now it is no longer difficult to find this type of Peranakan shop. This time I stopped at a shop that was popular in Renon. The location is strategic, in line with other coffee shops - each of which has its own style. This shop also attracts attention with its aesthetic Peranakan style. The menu itself is not something new, but menus that are usually found in Tiam coffee shops. Even with the flavors offered, they are not extraordinary, but rather familiar & comfortable flavors. After all, simple things, close and closely related to everyday culture are never the wrong choice. Give a break from grandiose & luxurious things which often give rise to obscurity, by looking back at the surroundings and things that are rooted. And it cannot be denied that today's cafe is no longer just a place to drink coffee as its literal definition, but rather a meeting point, a place to socialize.
