Is Bali fun for solo travelers?

I went to Bali alone. This is my 5th time in Bali, but this was my first time going alone. I stayed in Sanur, a district with a laid-back atmosphere where the old Bali remains. The hotel I stayed at was Sanur Resort Watujimbar. The pool was large and the breakfast was delicious. There were quite a few Japanese people who looked like surfers, so I wonder if surfers stay here? Ubud is nice, but I also enjoy shopping at the newly opened ICON BALI in the Sanur district, and Arta Sedana Sanur, where you can find souvenirs, miscellaneous goods, food, and everything else at reasonable prices. I couldn't get bored even if I spent the whole day at the supermarket, and there were so many interior items and souvenirs I wanted that my luggage was full.
