Coffee above the waves in Kuta

#cityplaybook On a recent visit to Kuta, I discovered Expat. Roasters on the rooftop of Beachwalk Shopping Center. The café had a minimalist design, featuring concrete accents and an open layout, created a relaxed atmosphere. Their espresso drinks typically came with their signature Nomad house blend, which was round and balanced—though to me it’s somewhat lacking in acidic character. They have around six more types of bean to choose from, but it would cost almost double the price. If you could get the outdoor seat (while not minding the heat), sipping a cuppa while overlooking the ocean from the rooftop seating would be quite a serene thing to do in Kuta. 📍Expat.
