Banana Leaves & Wicker Baskets at Roti Daal

Nothing brings people together like food does, especially when it comes on beautiful leaves and wicker baskets. If you’re needing to switch things up from the Balinese spices (though we’re not sure why you ever would), then definitely give Roti Daal a try. They’re known for their homestyle Indian cuisine and did a fantastic job of making us feel super welcome in their cozy little venue. Roti Daal offers six different Thali of the day, a meal consisting of several small meat or vegetable dishes which you can choose to accompany with rice, lentils or roti (it’s all in the name). Sea Circus is a fun cafe which ensures a bright start to the morning! The venue is located off the main strip, but it is close to the beach and nestled amongst other food venues, just around the bend from KuDeTa. The food is fresh and delicious and the vibe is happy and relaxed. With its fun menu and fresh food, this is the perfect setting for enjoying breakfast, lunch, dinner or a drink! With gluten-free and vegan options, the menu here is fresh, fun and very fulfilling! The fresh juice is refreshing and the smoothies are even better! Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to try their selection of sweet things, but the dessert menu also sounds amazing. #createwithtrip

A stone cold hit since day one, Sisterfields has to be one of the most popular restaurants in Seminyak. With lines out the door every single day for brekkie, lunch and dinner, it’s fair to say that this Melbourne-inspired cafe is doing something right. Fear not though, the service at Sisterfields is always faultless, so it’s never long before the ever-smiling staff have you settled in, sipping and snacking away on the incredible, Instagrammable dishes. Overall I could see where that RAVING review came from! The ambiance was great, service was very nice and friendly, the food was delicious (with relatively BIG portions too!). It was a little steep in terms of prices, but I don’t really mind much anyway! Recommended! #createwithtrip

Coffee Cartel is a boutique coffee shop based in popular Seminyak, and was created in the heart of Wollongong, just south of Sydney Australia, where its sister cafe, Lower East was born. The owners loved Bali so much that they decided to bring their passion to the beautiful island and they even roast their own coffee which is now also sold in the shop. Coffee Cartel is most definitely a brunch place, with an extensive menu, that's not only colourful but healthy too. The staff were also super friendly and helpful, which always makes a place that much more special. Local and ethical beauty products, as well as accessories are for sale downstairs, so take some spare cash for a little spend. This straw fan was my favourite, perfect for hot days at the beach and easy to pack to take home too. Such a lovely little stop in Seminyak, I'd highly recommend a visit and don't forget to try the carrot cake. #createwithtrip
