Taipei store visit: Came here for the decoration, but became a fan of the food circle: the hidden surprise of Hao Jiaxi

Mimizu, which became popular on IG, is hidden on the second floor of an old house in Banqiao. It is low-key and full of Japanese atmosphere. This time I specially chose a weekday afternoon to visit, but I didn't expect that the crowd would still be there. Although I couldn’t sit in the popular tatami area by the window, the outdoor seating area on the balcony with camping-style furnishings was equally enjoyable. I ordered a #Japanese-style egg salad croissant. Although it looked very plain ~ but it was unexpectedly good to my taste ~ the dense egg salad filling went well with the crispy baked croissant crust ~ there was a touch of pepper and salt on the crust , slightly salty, which adds a sense of layering to the whole, why is it so delicious~ #ChocolateChiffon is also impressive. Valrhona whipped cream is sprinkled with chocolate cookie crumbs, giving it a richer taste, and you can feel different layers of texture in every bite. Although the chiffon cake is on the solid side, the overall balance of sweetness and texture is also very good. I originally came here just for the Japanese-style decoration, but I didn't expect the quality of the food to be even more amazing. Coupled with the friendly service attitude, the overall experience was very satisfying.
