excursion to Montserrat

#beachvacation#mountainview we decided to scape from the heat of Barcelona and make a short trip to Montserrat. it is a Monastery on the top of the mountains about 1 hour and 20 minutes by train from Barcelona. There is the option of getting the Zip train, or the funicular, similar to those cabins form the ski resorts that take you up to the mountain. I recommend this second option, the views are amazing. On the top you will have some shops and restaurant, there are also hiking routes from where you will see all he valley.
