| Wandering on the streets, encountering the tenderness of time. Dear friends! Today we would like to share with you our experience of walking on the streets of Basel, Switzerland! (It's just shopping) The sun is shining in the morning, and the city of Basel is slowly waking up. The ancient stone road sparkles in the sunlight, showing the traces of time. We walked along the road. The breeze was very comfortable and the air was fresh and pleasant. We first went to the Basel Museum of Fine Arts, which was amazing! The museum houses masterpieces from various periods, from classical to modern. Every painting and sculpture seems to be telling a wonderful story. I was so attracted by the charm of art that I almost didn't want to leave. Next is the Gothic Basel Cathedral. The towering spire gives people a sense of solemnity. As you step into the church, the sunlight shines through the stained glass, which is colorful and beautiful. Next to the church, several women were basking in the sun leisurely. They were laughing and chatting happily, and the scene was very pleasant! When we arrived at Marcot Square, it was very lively! Street performers played beautiful music, and children ran happily around the fountain, laughing everywhere. The surrounding coffee shops and small stores were emitting bursts of aroma, so we naturally walked into a coffee shop, ordered a cup of fragrant coffee in our not-so-fluent English, sat in the open-air seats, and watched the lively scene in the square, feeling happy. Basel Town Hall is another iconic building. The exquisite appearance and long history are amazing. In the square in front of the Town Hall, people strolled leisurely, fed pigeons, and enjoyed this peaceful and beautiful moment. As night falls, Basel's streets are brightly lit, presenting another charming scene. The ancient buildings look mysterious and romantic under the lights. I walked slowly back along the street, my heart filled with love and reluctance to leave this city. On the streets of Basel, time seems to slow down, and people are not in a hurry and live leisurely. There is no hustle and bustle of big cities here, only tranquility and comfort. I think this is what makes Basel so attractive, it can make everyone's mind calm and peaceful.
