The best View at Mutianyu

#urbanexplorer #tripblazers #beijing With significantly less crowds than the nearby Badaling section of the Great Wall, Mutianyu boasts (in our opinion) much better views and a solid hike. Going up to the wall on a cable car, you can choose to do the uphill route to the left from posts 14-20 or the downhill route from 14-6. We decided to do both, going up first before doubling back and coming back down. Spring is a beautiful time to visit with the blossoms lining the wall. Some parts of the wall have an over 60 degree incline, so be prepared to scramble! But a reward awaits at the end with an amazing toboggan slide back down the mountain to finish!
