THE GREAT WALL of 🇨🇳

Can you truly say you’ve been to China if you have not been to The Great Wall? You: “I just came back from China” Friend or Stranger: “Oh yeah, how was it? Did you see The Great Wall?” You: “Oh, no but there is more to China than The Great Wall you know?” Friend or Stranger: “Ah, so you didn’t go then. I see” Don’t be that person folks‼️(By the way, the above ⬆️ scenario is all in good fun) I know my friends would ask if I crossed The Great Wall of China off the bucket list if I had it on the list in the first place. Anyway, if being on your bucket list isn’t enough reason for you to see this world-renowned landmark, go for the journey via cable cars so you can see surrounding forest. Add to the fact that you’re literally standing on a prolific work of art that stretches on for miles and miles. I went to the Badaling section which I was told is a popular section of the wall. July was when I went and luckily it was raining on the way but it cleared up enough for us to patrol the steps up and down. When you go, just be sure to stop and take it all in, really be in the moment. For if you go and all you did was take a couple pictures, it won’t be worth it.
