🍁I missed several Wuzuolou activities, and finally came here with Yuetu during the weekend. Looking down at the Miyun Reservoir from the highest building, there are small islands in the reservoir. The blue water gives it a feeling of Thousand Island Lake. 📖Five buildings: belong to the Yunmeng mountain system of Beijing Xiaohuangshan, connected to Miyun Reservoir and Heilongtan in the north. It is named after the five watchtowers. The highest one, Building No. 5, is over 900 meters above sea level. The terrain is very dangerous, and the outer side is all cliffs. 📍Navigation: Baiyunjian Scenic Area 🚌Transportation: Bus, about 1.5 hours 🎫Tickets: 25💰 🧭Route: Take the two-step route from 1014 Wuzuolou to Yunlongjian-Wuzuolou-Lishugou. It is a crossing route with a total distance of 8.75km and a climb of 940m. You can climb up to the first building and overlook the entire Miyun Reservoir. 🔖Route: Enter from the Yunlongjian Scenic Area and climb all the way to the highest point of the cable car. There are steps all the way, and it will be a bit strenuous to climb. There is a viewing pavilion near the cable car, which overlooks the Miyun Reservoir and is a great place to check in if you have enough time. Take the wild path near the cable car into the mountain and continue climbing. You will soon come to the first building. Take the ladder into the building. There is a staircase on the left to reach the top of the building. There is a unique view of Miyun Reservoir here. Then we went down to the 2nd, 4th and 5th floors. We didn’t notice the 3rd floor as it was hidden well and we couldn’t go up to the next few floors. During the descent, you can see a building next to the reservoir. There are several rocks near the building's height that allow you to take photos of the building and the reservoir. ⚠️⚠️⚠️Tips: 1️⃣In mid-October, it is still quite hot to climb the mountain in the hot sun at noon, so you still need to bring enough water; 2️⃣The reservoir is blue, very photogenic, and telephoto is very suitable for taking photos of buildings; 3️⃣You don’t need to set off too early, the journey is not long, the intensity is low, and the reservoir freezes in winter, so you can see a bluer lake.
