A museum showcasing the development history of Beijing's tap water

"Beijing Tap Water Museum" is located at No. 3 Xianghe Garden Street, outside Dongzhimen, Beijing, and opened in 2002. The museum is located on the site of the first water plant in Beijing's history - the old site of Dongzhimen Water Plant, and the main building of the museum is the remains of the steam engine room built in 1910. The museum has three exhibition halls, "Hard Entrepreneurship, Striving for Excellence", "Clear Springs Reflecting the Past and Present", and "Vigorous Development after the Reform and Opening Up", which introduce the century-long development of Beijing's tap water business to people through real objects, pictures, models, sculptures and text descriptions.
