China World Hotel, Beijing | A glimpse of the prosperity of Beijing || I accidentally booked a room at China World Hotel, the filming location of the hit TV series "The Story of Rose". I was really amazed by the classical beauty of the hotel, which is complex yet elegant. The China World Hotel is a memory of the newspapers and magazines I read when I was a child. I sighed as these words that remained in my childhood memory are slowly becoming concrete. Outside the window, I can see the China Zun, the Big Underpants and some skyscrapers. It’s a glimpse of prosperity, but I’m not moved. Maybe I’m a person who loves countryside and nature more. I’ve seen too many skyscrapers, but what I can empathize with more are the people who have put in a lot of work behind the rapid development of skyscrapers. The China World Trade Center is downstairs from the hotel. The traffic flow of this shopping mall is frustrating. I don’t want to go there again after visiting it once. This shopping mall has everything on the same floor, but it feels like it’s endless and it’s very uncomfortable. The service details of the hotel are OK, but the facilities are a bit old. After all, it is here for many years. But it is still nice to experience the service of an old hotel once in a while. 🙎The registration desk is in the lobby on the first floor. The registration staff is friendly and will ask if you need a disposable comb and toothbrush. The lobby service staff (an uncle) is very enthusiastic and will help open the door and press the elevator👍 🪟The room is average, it's an old hotel model, but the large floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view. The toiletries in the room are from Herborist, and the bathroom has a bathtub (standard in old hotels). 🥞The hotel offers a wide variety of breakfast options. Dining hours are 07:00-10:00. During breakfast time (if breakfast is included), you can enter by swiping your room card. There are also buffet lunches (about RMB 128 per person) and dinners (seems to be RMB 268 per person). You can go to the restaurant on the first floor to check for details. If you don’t want to go out, you can satisfy your dining needs in the hotel.
