Late autumn has arrived in Beijing. On the west side of the Ming City Wall Relics Park, the tall maple leaves sway in the autumn wind, bringing a touch of red and orange. The Model Worker Wall at the west end of the park has stood for nearly a decade. The names of the city's model workers, who are dedicated to their work and have outstanding skills and contributions, are engraved on the blue and white stones by year. Colorful trees are planted around the wall. After mid-October, the maple leaves turn red. The red is bright and vibrant, especially in the evening sun. Children play and pick up red leaves in front of the wall after school. Under the ancient city wall, the red is a tribute to modern life and a beautiful sight. The Ming City Wall Relics Park, located near Beijing Railway Station, is an open park from west to east and is free of charge.
