Cuandixia Village is located in Zhaitang Town, Mentougou District, Beijing. It was formed in the Ming Dynasty and is one of the first traditional villages and historical and cultural villages in Beijing. 🌟Highlights: [One]Cuandixia Village is built on the mountainside, following the terrain and with different heights. With the village's Houlongtou as the center and the north-south axis, the entire village spreads out in a fan shape on both sides. From a bird's eye view, the overall layout of the village is shaped like a "gourd" and also like a "ingot". The builders of the village intended to take the meanings of "blessings and fortune" and "gold and silver" to give the ancient village environment auspicious meanings. [Two] There are 74 Qing Dynasty houses with 689 rooms. The architectural style has the charm of Jiangnan water town windows, buildings, rooms and other details and local treatment, as well as the grand overall momentum of the northern mansions. 👍Most Recommended: [One] Wealthy House: Located on the central axis of the village, it is the highest and is the best preserved large courtyard in the village.
