Sanlihe Park is a product of Beijing's urban renovation. In the early years, the area was Longxugou. Sanlihe Park is an open park. Now the river is clear, with small bridges and flowing water. In early winter, the reeds sway in the wind. There are wooden walkways and bluestone roads. The surrounding area is full of courtyards, clubs, and cafes. There are still residential houses, roosters crowing, and hens walking around. There are people walking birds, practicing Tai Chi, and taking morning walks. It feels like a small park, but also like a Beijing hutong. Near the city center, there are no noisy crowds or vehicles, just peace and quiet. It takes only a ten-minute walk from Qianmen to Sanlihe Park. Visitors can also walk around the park to see the classic Beijing hutongs.
