[Three] Imperial Ancestral Temple The Imperial Ancestral Temple is located in the Working People’s Cultural Palace on the east side of Tiananmen Square. It is the ancestral temple where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped their ancestors. It was first built in the 18th year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty (1420). [Shrine] Enter from the west gate of the Working People's Cultural Palace and exit from the east gate. 📝Note tips: The security check lines in the Tiananmen Square area are complicated, so ask for directions more often and don’t take the wrong path.
