Students are so excited, come to this hotel when you come to Beijing!

Westin Beijing Chaoyang During this trip to Beijing, I chose this Westin which was at the center of controversy at the time and stayed for a total of two nights. We booked a basic room and were upgraded to a corner room with a nice view. We informed them of our birthday in advance and were given a whole cake (ridiculously large), which was very nice. The decoration of this hotel is a bit old. The call quality of the room phone is average and there is noise. There is no audio or alarm clock in the room (confusing). The desk is equipped with a full range of small stationery, and there is a leg and foot massager next to the small sofa (it’s so strange to see it for the first time hhh); the wardrobe is fully equipped with umbrellas, irons and bathrobes, and there is even a cabinet specially marked with emergency equipment; there are also many choices for pillows, you can call the service center to ask. By the way, the Westin I stayed in before always put the signature small essential oil at the head of the bed, but I didn’t see it in this one. The hardware can only be said to be average in general, but the maintenance is in place. In the minibar, bottled water comes from Bama; the coffee machine and coffee capsules are both Nespresso, and there are three types of capsules to choose from; the drinks in the mini fridge need to be paid for extra, and the variety is relatively limited; the welcome fruit is 🍐 and a can of 7-Up; because I informed you of my birthday in advance, I was given a whole cake (although I said it was big!). It is worth mentioning that this store provides a complete range of cups and tableware in the minibar, which is a good thing. The bathroom is equipped with a double sink, and the overall facilities are still a bit old; the toiletries are from Westin's own white tea set, which smells pleasant; there is a small TV next to the bathtub, and separate soap is also provided; it is not a smart toilet, and the hair dryer is the kind with a relatively low wind speed; the electric curtains in the bathroom seem to have some problems, they can be lowered but cannot be put up hhh. This lounge provides breakfast, afternoon tea and HH. I did not use the afternoon tea and HH so I cannot comment on them. The breakfast has a complete variety and the service of the staff is quite good, but the staff ratio seems insufficient and it feels a bit overwhelmed. In addition, this lounge also provides freshly made eggs for breakfast, but it does not clearly inform the guests that this service is available. The restaurant and gym in the hotel were not used, so no comments are made. In general, the overall style of this hotel is more suitable for business travelers. Considering the three dimensions of location, price and lounge, the hardware facilities are not excellent and the cost performance is average, but it wins in software services and location. It is convenient to take a taxi, drive or go to the subway station. And judging by the food at the Lounge breakfast, it should be no worse than HH and afternoon tea. At this price, it is still competitive in the capital.
