Hot spring bathing, circus watching, lantern viewing, one-stop entertainment in the suburbs of Beijing

I drove to the World Horticultural Exposition Park in Yanqing to enjoy the lanterns during the Lantern Festival. The Lantern Festival at the Expo Park has been held for the third time. In addition to exquisite lanterns, this year there will also be circus performances and light shows. I chose to stay at the Pushen Hotel in the park. This is a very distinctive resort hotel in the suburbs of Beijing. The quaint old buildings and red lanterns 🏮 create a festive atmosphere. This time we stayed in the Huifengyuan Suite, which has its own private hot spring bathing pool. After checking in, we can take a bath and drink afternoon tea in the room. The afternoon tea prepared by the hotel is pure Chinese dim sum, very delicate and delicious. In the evening, you can go to the Guiyi Lake in front of the hotel to watch the sunset. The afterglow of the setting sun on the frozen lake is very beautiful. I had a hot pot dinner at the hotel. After dinner, you can go to watch the animal circus show, which is held at 17:30, 18:30 and 19:30. Hotel guests can watch it for free. The circus performance lasts half an hour, and there are clowns 🤡 to interact with, which is very suitable for parent-child families. After watching the circus, go to enjoy the lanterns. This year's lanterns are concentrated in the provincial gardens of the World Horticultural Exposition Park. They are quite large and you can enjoy them slowly. After watching the lanterns, we returned to the hotel. The hotel had already prepared some midnight snacks for us. We took a bath to drive away the cold, and spent the day comfortably.
