Enjoy this hidden gem in Beijing without spending a penny and avoid the crowds. 🌸The entire valley is covered in peach blossoms, creating a stunning contrast against the rolling mountains (best viewing period👀: now - mid-April). 🛕Admire the magnificent Ming Great Wall and immerse yourself in history. 💦The canyon boasts clear streams and small waterfalls, perfect for splashing around, resting, and enjoying the refreshing nature. 🗺️Hiking Route ✅From Xiangtun Village → Longquanyu Great Wall 👉Walk uphill and enter through the green iron gate on the right. The foot of the Great Wall is a 400-meter walk from there. 👉Once you reach the Great Wall, you can walk in either direction. For a loop hike, go➡️. After passing 4 beacon towers (the Great Wall is severely damaged here, blocked by branches, and basically impassable), descend along the dirt road and walk through the forest for 15–20 minutes. 👉At the end of the road, take the path on the➡️right to return to the Great Wall. ✅Longquanyu Great Wall → Return to Xiangtun Village 👉Descend after passing 2–3 more beacon towers. 👉Follow the canyon path. 👉When the path turns back into a paved road, you are about 1 km from Xiangtun Village. Follow the road back to the parking area. (A loop map is provided for your reference. The start and end points are the same.) 🏃‍♀️‍➡️Hiking Guide 🧗‍♀️Difficulty level: The entire loop is about 7 km with a total elevation gain of approximately 300 meters. ⏱️Time required: 3.5–4 hours 🅿️Parking Guide Navigate to 【🔍Xiangtun Village Committee, Yanqing District, Beijing】.
