Wangjing Flowering Crabapple Brook Revisited

I visited Wangjing Flowering Crabapple Brook last year, but unfortunately, I was a bit late and only caught the tail end of the flowering crabapples. There were more flowers in the stream than on the trees, so I was determined to come back earlier this year to see them again. Today is my journey to relive the experience with Wangjing Flowering Crabapple Brook. Wangjing Flowering Crabapple Brook in the morning didn't feel as crowded as I had imagined, although there were still quite a few people. I came at the perfect time this year, as the flowering crabapples are in full bloom. I finally witnessed the flourishing scene of the Flowering Crabapple Brook, which is indeed beautiful and spectacular. I strolled along the stream from the west end of the south bank, and the flowering crabapple trees on the opposite bank were dazzlingly beautiful in the sunlight. I walked to the bridge at the east end, crossed the bridge, and then strolled west along the north bank of the Flowering Crabapple Brook. There seemed to be more people on the north bank, but there were flowering crabapple trees on both sides of the road, and some places had the effect of a flowering crabapple corridor. There are also more waterfront platforms on the north bank, which may be why there are more people. The paddleboards and kayaks that occasionally glide through the river add a dynamic landscape to the Flowering Crabapple Brook. However, everything peaks and then declines. The flowering crabapple trees in full bloom have already begun to shed their petals, and in a few days, it may be a scene of "green leaves and fading red." If you want to see it, hurry up! I also unexpectedly discovered that the flowering crabapples in the river channel on the west side of the bridge (west of the Wangjing Giant Panda sculpture) are also very beautiful, and there are very few people, so you can take pictures quietly. Moreover, the platform is very close to the water, and some nearby residents are leisurely fishing for small fish here. However, there are no paddleboarders in the waterway to liven up the atmosphere. This section of the Flowering Crabapple Brook is all about quiet beauty, a scene of spring harmony and tranquility. Wangjing Flowering Crabapple Brook, I finally witnessed its grand occasion, it is really great. PS: Take Exit B1 of Wangjing South Station on subway Line 14, turn right to the river, which is the main section. However, you can also go straight and cross the Giant Panda sculpture to the west to the western river channel, which is not a popular section and has fewer people.
