To be honest, I didn’t expect that I would be a fan of a female artist!

🏨Last Friday, I visited the solo exhibition "World Under the Starry Sky" by female artist Li Ruoheng at EAST. I also met the artist herself, a diverse 👩 artist who dabbles in photography, painting, sculpture and installation art. She studied at the Center College of Art and Design in Los Angeles for ten years and traveled to more than twenty countries, developing a unique global perspective. Listening to her talk about her life experiences, I felt they were so colorful. It is these experiences that make her artwork so creative! 🕑: March 1st to May 31st 📍: Lobby on the first floor of East Beijing Hotel (free 🆓) 👩The clever use of pearls, gold foil and a variety of composite materials makes the work full of layering and drama. It is a very unique creative technique that creates a multi-dimensional artistic atmosphere! 🖼️Exhibited paintings: 🕺Bullring in Mexico City: Pearls of different sizes and shapes are used to create the image of the bullring, paying tribute to the brave and fearless bullfighting culture; 🗼Paris: Use rose gold pearls to present the charm of the "City of Light"; ⛪️Milan Cathedral: Baroque pearls of various shapes are used to display the cultural vitality and diverse styles of Milan; 🌉Tower Bridge in London – telling the story of this city through light and shadow. 🌆Manhattan Era 2 – Gold, silver and copper foils interweave the complexity and infinite possibilities of New York, bringing visual shock to people and creating the prosperity of the city; ☕️After the exhibition, we had a simple exchange time with the artist. We tasted the art dessert set together. The dessert was inspired by the Tower Bridge of London, 58% dark chocolate + chopped walnuts. The texture of the chocolate was full of sweet taste. Paired with coffee, the beautiful afternoon time was so relaxing and beautiful😊 While tasting the delicious food and communicating with the artist, I felt that as a woman, she is so outstanding. She is unswerving in her pursuit of art and contribution to society. She has been helpful since she went to study abroad, and later became a war correspondent and taught in Africa and Xinjiang. She hopes to use her power to enable people to learn knowledge and thus have a better life. Her experience is so rich and colorful that we all feel that women should be like this! 🎂Artist Afternoon Tea 🕑 12:00pm-6:00pm
