While walking through the city, I suddenly felt thirsty and stepped into a Starbucks in Beijing. Starbucks is everywhere, but each location carries the unique vibe of its country. The store was filled with locals, their quiet conversations and the sound of typing creating a serene atmosphere. Outside the window, Beijing's signature red brick buildings and delivery workers in yellow shirts were bustling back and forth. After walking for a while, the first sip of iced latte melted away my fatigue. The cool air from the air conditioner and the aroma of coffee enveloped me, making me feel, for a moment, like I was part of this city. The menu was familiar, but the people and scenery inside were completely different, making it feel like a small sanctuary in a foreign place.
